About this Song:
Side Notes: This song was written the morning after I had spent just over a week in Hawaii on the North Shore of Oahu. I had seen
nearly a dozen sunrises on the beach and spent hours and hours in the water snorkeling, playing in the waves and spending time at the
beach. This tune popped into my head, and over about 4 hours I sketched out the idea and melody. I think this would work really well
with a cello or violin, but this is the original piano solo sketch I finished. I hope as you play this, you can picture crystal clear water
and the light that shimmers while you are diving underwater and looking up towards the light.
Be sure to bring out the melody in the Left Hand at the beginning and as you go through the song, keep the melody singing later on.
