Side Notes: I wrote this tune the morning of my wife Stacy’s birthday. I came back to it several times afterward, making small edits, and eventually had the chance to record it on my new studio piano. This was actually the first piece we fully tracked and recorded on that piano. As you play this, think of someone who is special to you. Let them be on your mind while you play.
