Ultimately, Lost and Found is a collection of songs that were not only written, but found again.

About this Song:
Side Notes: This piece came together in an unexpected way. About nine months after writing a similar song, I found myself creating this version without realizing how close it was. It wasn’t until later that I recognized the connection. I’ve included it here because I find it interesting how melodies can evolve over time.
I wrote this after learning about Sage Steele’s story and the challenges she faced while standing by her convictions. She was a pioneering female sports reporter that gave up everything to do what she felts and knew was right. As I played, it felt like the music captured both struggle and strength.
Courage shows up differently for each of us. When those moments come, I hope this piece reminds you to stand tall, even when it’s not the easy or popular choice.
