About this Song:
Side Notes: I came up with this tune on a cold January day. I had been skiing at Snowbasin several times and kept picturing the fresh white snow resting on the trees and across the mountains. There is nothing quite like that clean blanket of snow covering the mountainside. When the sun hits it, the light reflects in a way that makes everything feel brighter and almost still.
The start of a new year is often a time when people set goals and begin new projects. It is also a chance to start fresh, like a clean white
board.
As you play this tune, I hope it brings a sense of peace and helps you picture a quiet mountain covered in fresh snow. I also hope it helps you think about what a fresh start might feel like in your own life.
