About this Song:
Side Notes: This song is interesting because I thought I had finished the tune in September and then completly forgot about the song in a saved folder. About 10 months later, I wrote nearly the same melody out again in a different manuscript sketch. I liked both songs but literally forgot I had written this tune until I was in the recording studio and was recording both songs. We had the realization that they were nearly the same beginning yet as the song finished on both, they were different. The similar song is titled “Steele”, so if you compare the two, pay attention to the similarities. I decided to keep them separated vs. merging them in hopes others would find it interesting how songs or ideas evolve over time. Sometimes we forget that we’ve created something years earlier, like this one.
