I debated calling this song “Learning,” but the word “Meek” felt like a better description of what I feel when playing this song. Meek does not mean weak. It does not mean timid. And it does not describe someone who is a pushover. It means having strength, ability, and even authority, but choosing not to show off. It is a person who leads, yet listens more than they speak. Someone who is
confident, but not loud about it. Someone who is teachable. To me, it also means seeking and doing your best to align with God’s will. Think of controlled strength… being in a place where you can learn and grow because of the fertile environment created around you.
